Last year, I took a course in intaglio printmaking. Intaglio is a centuries-old printing technique in which zinc plates and acids are used to create grooves in the metal, which are then filled with ink.
It is a traditional and meticulous process that artists have used for centuries, but one that is becoming increasingly rare today. It is complex and time-consuming, but also incredibly rewarding. Seeing the final image appear after such a long process is really beautiful.
I still have a few of the works that came out of those experiments, and I would love to make them available and share them with you as part of my personal work.
Each piece is shipped in a protective folder with acid-free paper to ensure its best possible conservation.
Framing is recommended.
